Harvest On The Harbor Culinary Challenge

Harvest On The Harbor Culinary Challenge

Brand new to Harvest on the Harbor for 2012, Maine’s premiere Cutting Edge: Culinary College Competition is a cooking event with a cause! Join host Michele Ragussis of Food Network Star as we welcome the next generation of Maine culinary talent, with student teams from Maine’s best culinary programs competing for the title of Maine’s first Cutting Edge chefs – as well as a hearty scholarship to help them reach their goals of epicurean success. Sponsored by True North Salmon, The Maine Mall, and NorthCenter Foods, the teams will prepare their unique version of a salmon dish on the Viking Cooking Demonstration Stage, while guests nibble on rustic breads from Standard Baking and farm fresh cheeses from Cabot Creamery Cooperative. All dishes will be expertly paired with a variety of fine wines, brought to you by USA Wine West. While votes are tallied, guests will enjoy locally roasted Coffee by Design and a dessert demonstration and tasting by Rosemont Market & Bakery.

The student contestants were chosen and announced at the September 27th press party.

Team 1: Molly Jones, Leah Rothgaber, Kevin Ouillette, Marc Hill
